We are moving into our forever house so I am not thinking of resale for a change! I notice that you have a gold tone chandelier where most young people use the oil rubbed bronze or black. The house we are moving into has a beautiful very expensive lantern (in style) type shiny brass chandelier
handrail and paint spindles- love this look. Do I stain or paint black? Is there a gloss? What do I tell my contractor to achieve this look? Also, i have young kids and I'm afraid they will rub off the new coat of paint on the spindles how do you keep the paint from chipping? Any suggestions would be helpful
