type of stone used on this fireplace. I am currently looking for stone and really like this one
Thank you
michelle
The stone is a mix of cultured slate stack stone and mix of Swede Basin Ledgestone.
I like how the stone above the mantel is tapered to the ceiling. I like the stacked stone, with an occasional flat stone mixed in. I like the solid wood mantel

e the stone on the fireplace - Where can I buy it?
The stone you have on the wall and the fireplace is so pretty. Can you please share the name of the company you bought it from and name of the color? Thanks!
This stone for this client's basement came from Condor Fireplace and Stone in Minneapolis, MN and is made by Boulder Creek Stone. Boulder Creek should have a dealer in most areas. I don't know if they carry the exact color anymore but the style is Long Island Stak. The closest color I've seen is called
