how to you handle the outlets for backsplash?
Installing the real stone around the outlets, once you cut the stone for the outlets how do you 1. get the outlet flush with backsplash, since the realstone is a lot thicker? How do you get the outlet cover to sit flush on the real stone since its
brackets? How are they attached to the granite?

porcelain tile is called Antares. The size selected for this project is 20'' x 20''.
What color granite did you use and is that slate tile on the floor of the kitchen?
carpet or tile. I would suggest speaking with a company who specializes in engineered wood floor installation in your area so that they can access your basement. In order for it to be installed properly, the floor must be level. Perhaps that is why you were advised against it.

section of tile intentionally put in wrong?
There is a segment of tile on the backsplash that is going the wrong direction. The tiles are running horizontally rather than vertically. Was that done intentionally?
The tile definitely seems wrong in that one section. Looks like a difficult product to work with - most joints can be seen. Like everything else though!

How was the concrete floor finished?
Porcelin tile? This is going to be our "rec room/guest space". If I go w/stained concrete, I would have to use area rugs to soften the look. If I choose laminate, it will look less like "basement" and may be easier on the feet. Having a hard time choosing what looks good, wear well, easy to clean &
