CAVEAT: Dark wood, wrong stone work, different stone counter top, different stone floor ... very disintegrated and messy looking.
like the tile/wood floor example how they will look together. like the stone/wood combo on columns.
I like the combination of wood, stone and white trim to keep if from being too dark.

How did you fit the cross beam through the two post beams so it looks like each post beam is holding up the cross beam?
These were the original posts and beams (ca. 1910±). The beams were supported temporarily while the posts were removed in order to insert the steel connections. Everything was then put back in original location.
