chose a water based poly in place of the more common oil based poly, which gives the floor a lighter brighter feel instead if the yellow and red tones that come through when floors are finished with an oil based poly.

this floor looks like traditional wood floor, it is not actually wood at all. It was created with THIN-FINISH™ Pre-Mixed Overlay and is a polymer modified cementitous topping. Because it is cement based, it is seamless and wont scratch like conventional wood floors.
