match it. If you can't match it well it may still look good offset from the rest of the flooring.
Love the floors. Would they look good if I used them in a step down living room but stained the standard 3" oak flooring to match this in the rest of the house? Thanks.

What is the stain used on the floors? Are they red or white oak?
Can you tell me what those beautiful floors are?
The best of both worlds! The durability of oak and the deep beautiful color of walnut :-)
Hi there! Would you be so kind as to tell me how many inches the plank on these floors is? 3" 5" etc

Thank you. I wished my old oak floor would look half as good.
this is a reclaimed oak floor that was colored/stained and then waxed.
The glass is a clear antique glass. It doesn't really provide much privacy, these homeowners just happen to be on a secluded street that sees very little traffic.
The stain is a custom color chosen by the homeowner. Custom Floors Unlimited did the work.

beautiful floors!! what stain was used?
It's been awhile since we built this home but I do know it was a Benjamin Moore stain. I believe it was a natural stain over the red oak planks.
This is #2 Red Oak with 4in. wide planks. We then hand scraped them on site before staining. Thanks

If I am looking for a nice piece of furniture, what things should I look for to be sure that it is truly an antique and not a replica. For example, nails, screw, etc.? Thank you, Halina

Unfortunately, for true aficionados, the "antique knock-off" business get's better all the time. I've seen things that come out of Mexico that you could swear looked 100+ years old. As far as the wood... Oak furniture was almost ALWAYS produced using quarter sawn white oak, and most old Walnut pieces used a
