nicely done entry on small home
Even without the red clay tile roof, this small house feels like a Spanish bungalow because of the painted stucco exterior; shallow roof; exposed rafters; wooden beams, windows and doors; and brick paths and chimney.Roots of Style: Spanish Eclectic Homes Find a Place in the Sun
you live in 1,200 square feet and less, you won’t spend a lot of time shopping. There is simply not enough room for stuff. Small-home living causes you to make choices about what is important enough to make room for, and what you can happily live without.

Can you tell me about the wood specie used on cabinets? And if it is Veneer or solid wood? Thanks!
for our master bathroom cabinets but they said they couldn't go over 48", and I'm trying to find an option that will work well with it for a very tall cabinet. You have some tall sections that are kind of what I need. BTW...love your design. Thanks for sharing.
The cabinets are quarter sawn walnut
stone and metal room, farmhouse accents but contemporary - small
inspired by the colors found in the stone features. Warm white acts as an offsetting backdrop to the green-brown window trim and rust-orange door. In small doses and with a light background, the '70s-like hues feel anything but dated.

The two “additions” that appear behind it contain most of the house. The main entry is from the small farmer’s porch into a surprisingly spacious vaulted stair hall lit by a doghouse dormer and three small windows running up along the stair. The living room, dining room and kitchen are all open to each
including a second master suite with its own fireplace. The extensive millwork, trim, interior doors, paneling, ceiling treatments, stairs, railings and cabinets were all built on site. The construction of the kitchen was the subject of an article in Fine Homebuilding magazine.
