If your case goods, flooring are dark wood(antiqued cherry), and the wall cabinets, furniture are light colored, the feel of the room is traditional/transitional--what color fan could I use, dark or white?
Good amount of contrast; just switch white with black furniture.
Some Like It Hot. Turn up the heat with a combination of red and orange. With this bold color scheme, you'll also want to include white — in the furniture, on one wall (as shown here), or the trim. This will provide much needed balance.

I'm looking for a traditional piece of furniture tall, simple and slim similar to the one that appears in the picture with the urn on top on the left. What is it? Where can I find this kind of furniture? I probably can't afford an antique piece. Anybody knows of a company
