Designed to accommodate a large family, the large island has a raised bar and seating for four. Across from the island sits the entertaining/bar area. The Bentwood cabinetry was designed by Kori Shurley of the Kitchen & Bath Cottage and has a French Country flair similar to the island, and is painted

How tightly does a sliding door fit?
Love the look and practicality of sliding barn doors. If we use this alone for shed access (no underlying closure), will there be gaps inviting bugs or rodents? What if there were two doors that met in the center -- how secure?
thick to get that to happen. When sliding the door closed, the door is actually rubbing the building/door jamb. There are rollers at the bottom that ensure a tight fit.
going to add a inner plexiglass panel to improve thermal efficiency. will post pictures in coming days. slope idea sounds great I love old bank barns. I remember a lot of those in the catskills..there is a few around here.
