climate will promote cracking in almost any surface! With that being said, if the stone is set on a concrete slab, expansion joints are placed in the patio if required, and proper mortar is used, then the possibility of cracking will be minimized. Go for it!

How is the design working for the home owners?
Thank you for alerting us. We have no association with Cashion Custom Homes and the project they are promoting is ours and the builder was Cornerstone Craftsmen in Atlanta, GA. I don't know how they got the image but it is not their work.
This home was originally built in the 80's and the builder that did the addition and complete remodel is Cornerstone Craftsmen. Their website is http://www.cornerstonecraftsmen.com and I would ask for Clyde Clem. It is an amazing home and I hope it works out for you.
