beautiful flooring? Is it a combination of slate and wood or one piece?
Name of slate used on the floor?
Is that Autumn Gold slate on the floor?
I love the floor, but wonder about the expansion and shrinking of the wood, was there a special grout used?
How do you clean both floor surfaces without damaging the wood?
replicate this floor we are happy to help. Many Thanks
Hi Michael, For the most part, the kitchen floor can be swept or vacumned, For a depp clean. You would clean the stone per manufactures instructions. I cannot remember the finish we put on the wood whether it was a polyurathene of a waxed finish. My homeowner
is cork floor; not sure Ilike the patern. Like the cabinets, sink and countertop is little too dark. Not sure about backsplash.
cork sounds like a good material to consider for flooring
Phil: combo of painted white cabinets plus cork floor.
Some cork flooring comes pre-finished, although it still will need periodic doctoring to keep it in shape.Cork can bounce back from small nicks, but major dings—for example, sliding a table across the floor and taking a chunk of cork with it—are tougher to fix. Furniture eventually will leave permanent dents

kind of floors are these? Is there a twin? Beautiful!
What kind of wood was used on the floors? Is it a character or rustic grade or reclaimed? Thanks!
heart pine floors, would you mind sharing the brand of urethane that you used? Have installed antique heart pine, and now ready to finish.
Thanks!
What finish did you select for the flooring? I recently did a full home renovation with reclaimed heart pine flooring from a whiskey distillery in Kentucky
finish the flooring with Danish oil instead of polyurethane, thinking that the character of the wood would be better preserved. The floors are really showing wear now, and I was thinking of redoing them in poly. What are your thoughts? Will poly prevent the floors from darkening over time? I would love
