white. Polished nickel plumbing, hardware and custom grilles on feature cabinets along with the island pendants add shine, while finer details such as inset doors, furniture kicks on non-working areas and lofty crown details add a layering effect in the millwork. Where did you get the bar stools from?
get the bar stools. What is the color of the cabinets?
islands are bar height seating with sink set to counter, but your island looks like the chairs are at counter height. Would love to see sink side of island. Can you clarify all this? Thanks for your help!
Like the bar stools. Who is maker?
291 in polished nickel finish; the knobs are also from Atlas Hardware's Sutton Collection, Style 292 in polished nickel finish. I hope this helps!

Are they Polished Nickel or Satin Nickel?
We are doing a white kitchen with a steel hood very similiar to yours and a chrome faucet in the island (black countertops). Would we be better off doing polished or satin for the pendants or does it matter? Thank you for your time - your kitchen is beautiful
overhang for bar stools in island.

available in polished nickel, industrial, three clips on the shade edge, one lever on the yoke.
Any granite supplier and/or installer can leather the granite. It's just another finish like Ho Ed or polished.
knobs are polished nickel or polished chrome? Thanks for your time!
Looks like polished nickel.
As to which faucet, it is hard to tell from the photo.
It is a traditional faucet with cross handles and sidespray.
Here's a list of them ordered in price from high to low (note faucet direct doesn't carry all brands):

-- or polished nickel? Are there any other fixtures in this room? If so, what is the finish?
I am very interested in using the circular version of this light,, but wanted to use polished nickel in the rest of my lighting. Not sure this will work.
Thoughts?
out if polished nickel could be used on hardware, and what finish to use for other lighting.
Is there any other fixture in this room?
mixed polished nickel with antique pewter in this kitchen and it looks great. There is a shell chandelier over the table in this room and it has a chrome finish. Don't be afraid to mix up your finishes. The only finish that I would stay away from is brushed nickel.
Does a honed vs polished marble provide more protection?
satin nickel but it appears your faucets are chrome and the pendants are also shiny- do you like the contrast of finishes?
there are polished chrome accents everywhere, from the knob rings on the range, to the tea kettle and pots, etc. The sink fixtures were less expensive in polished chrome, and it's also a more durable finish vs. brushed/satin nickel. (Note: the pendants are in a satin nickel finish, but all satin/brushed

piece of polished marble in the reflection of the light.
These are not stains, but rather areas where the top layer of the marble got "eaten off" by the acid. Unfortunately there is no sealer that will stop the etching from happening.
The honed finish - while not preventing the damage, hides it way better
