It seems that if they open in, the right door would block the fridge, so I assume they open out. when they are closed, how do you keep the fridge door from knocking into the right door when it swings wide open?
French doors open out. The fridge is probably designed to stop at a certain point, rather than swinging completely open.
how awesome is that arched dutch door
the split door. Love that the outside of the door coordinates with the interior (for when it's open).
We are going to put in a dutch door for our front door, and trying to find a minimalistic yet secure locking mechanism. It looks like most just have a deadbolt on the top half, a door lock on the bottom, and then something that locks them together. This
front door looks like the deadbolt is also on the bottom and the top somehow locks down to the bottom?
Can you please clarify? If you know the hardware mfg. that would be appreciated too. Thanks!
black door hardware accent off the white trim nicely
Porch Ext. Door idea - transom over french (center door)
front-door transom and split doors, Ceiling ornaments, three bulb lamps. The single Victorian chair is where we have a small door to the water heater that could be covered up.
