I love the windows... would like to do the same thing with a double french or patio door past the bench seat... is there a thing as too much light? I have a big space so lots of room to fill. What do you think?

Its a hood by Crystal Cabinetry. They are a custom cabinetry line and can customize hoods but the one shown here is a standard hood in their
sooooo pretty! Like the storage on the end of the island and the two tiered island. Range hood.

The backsplash field is the Portofino Verde mosaic by Impronta Tile. The border at the backsplash
matches the countertop, which is Polychrome granite.
The sink is centered on the window but the faucet is off-center due to the shape of the sink. Please refer to the other photos of this project for a better idea the alignments.

could we build a dish buffet with a plate rack as well as shelf storage - by the dishwasher
break from the exterior climate. Radiant heat was poured into the floor slab and wraps the lower 3rd of the tub which is below the floor in order to keep the thermal mass hot. Marvin Ultimate double hung windows were used throughout. Another unusual detail is the Corten ceiling panels that were applied
heat in the concrete floor slab. This bathroom also incorporates a great deal of salvage and reclaimed materials including the 1800's piano legs which were used to create the vanity, an antique cherry corner cabinet was built into the wainscot paneling, chestnut barn timbers were added for effect and also
supply to the shower via a rain shower head and to the tub via a Kohler laminar flow tub filler. The entire addition was built with 2x8 wall framing and has been filled with full cavity open cell spray foam. The frost walls and floor slab were insulated with 2" R-10 EPS to provide a complete thermal break
Even the same paint color in different rooms can look different depending on lighting and the colors around it. Your best bet is to go to your local paint store and get sticks of paint samples you like. Then purchase a small can and see how it looks on your wall as a larger area will look different
