Pls tell me what the walkway plantings are. Thyme between stepping stones? Pachysandra (sp?) on sides of walkway?
A mass of Pachysandra or Japanese spurge flank the pathway. The wide joints between the stones allow turf (grass, lawn) to grow and be mowed just like the rest of the lawn.

It is pachysandra. :) There is a native species in TN.
I read somewhere that Pachysandra is so hardy it will even grow under pine trees.....
