Private Residence on the Delaware River
porch has a heated, tumbled slate floor which provides the perfect setting for family gatherings and meals during any season. Beyond the dining room, the kitchen displays a custom designed cork floor in a lively, over-scaled patchwork quilt pattern. The second floor was reconfigured as a master suite
suite for the Owners with master bedroom and bath at one end and a den and home office at the other. The third floor contains three modest bedrooms and bathrooms, each are nestled into sloped roof shapes and dormers that provide the charm and character of a bed & breakfast or country inn. Interlocking slate deck tiles on balcony
These interlocking slate tiles were installed directly on an existing concrete balcony. As they don't use any adhesives or any grout, they don't interfere with the balcony floor and any water flows away freely under the tiles via the open mesh base.
