What are the red plants in the pots?
similar effect with several plants including Buxus microphylla var. japonica and Pittosporum 'Golf Ball'. There will be other plants which are suited to your area. When pruning into a ball, make certain to look at the plant from all directions until it's even.

Plant selection? Grouping of pots? Different levels?
Lathouris cleared a few radiata pine trees from the edge of the property to give the planting beds more sunshine. The pines were cut into bulky beams and used to build the family's home.

Lovely color! What is the red plant below windows? Thank you!!
That's right...they are blue pansies. We plant them in fall and enjoy them from Feb. to May. I usually take them out when I'm ready to plant summer annuals.
grow in cool spring weather. Where I live (Deep South) we plant in fall and enjoy over the winter until late Spring.
The red plant is a weeping cut leaf maple tree. Acer palmatum dissectum 'Crimson King'. I hope this helps!
Edge your walk or driveway with plants. Evergreen shrubs will add appeal and structure all year round and can serve as your base. Then you can plant bulbs in the fall, perennials and shrubs after the last

area on the estate and we wanted to create a folly, something whimsical. Get the consumer to think outside the conventional box and realize that a landscape can be truly anything they want. This was just a bare area of lawn along the wooded edge/tree line.
good day Liquidscapes, i would just like to know did you plant the lilies in the waters soil or on the outer soil next to the stream?
lake landscape ideas -maybe add wet landscape so kids don't want to go in it.
I like the plants growing in the water
plants that are good for the edge of the pond, that will hold back runoff, etc.

concrete was used to create an entrance way and a seating area. Colorful drought tolerant trees and plants were used strategically to screen out unwanted views, and to frame the beauty of the new landscape. This yard is an example of low water, low maintenance without looking like grandmas cactus garden
What are the plants in this photo and how drought resistant are they?
Spanish lavender : low water plants
Well, since the designer is not answering, I though I'd help you out. These are very drought tolerant plants and to the best of my knowledge are common names: Spanish
Water regularly during the first year to establish the plants; in subsequent years let the plants dry out completely before watering again. Add a light fertilizer in spring when growth starts.
