Coloful planting beds, thanks to Fairfield House & Garden Co. for building these!

raised beds of tulip and hyacinth
Here, raised beds of pink and coral tulips are accentuated by grape hyacinth. Though a planting like this is stunning, you'll need to remove the bulbs after they bloom or add enough perennials or annuals to provide interest until the foliage naturally dies.More: 6 Unsung Bulbs for Fall Planting

in the raised garden? How do you keep it from spreading outside the wall
We planted cucumber and zucchini in the front right planter bed, yellow squash and onion in the back right. I just tried to keep the vines in line as best as i could. There is about a 4" difference between the top cap and soil level in the boxes and they ran a bit over the boxes but nothing that
The beds are made from treated timber. We used a 3/8" minus crushed granite with dimensional cut Watermark buff flagstone. Hope that helps, Greg
