Carrara marble has been used in wet areas for centuries. It is a beautiful, timeless look that is definitely ok for showers. I have been selling this product for for than 15 years and never had an issue. As with any natural stone, Carrara marble should always be sealed with a penetrating stone sealer and
polished or honed comes down to personal preference. We sell both in a Carrara that has the same white base as the picture above (we have attached our product images). You can buy in either polished or honed for $10.95SF from http://www.thebuilderdepot.com/venato-carrara.html
This tile is all different variations of Bianco Carrara marble. Any number of manufacturers carry products similar to this. Walker Zanger has been around for over 55 years and has a line called "Tribeca" which has lots of Carrara available. http://www

Can you tell me what materials were used on the exterior of this house? We are building a timber frame and cannot decide on exterior products.
We love these windows, too, they are a great product with many standard color options. The company is Eagle Windows. I hope this helps!

styles. So we are the first company to split the product of Carrara marble into two styles. A whiter based less veined (like this in the picture) or a grayer based traditional Carrara. Just tying to help the readers. We sell a very similar product (pics attached) for $7.00SF: http://www.thebuilderdepot

The product is a Carrara Bianco. The picture framed Herringbone looks like a 1x3", but I have also included a picture of 1x2" below. Our Carrara Bianco 1x3"
elongated Herringbone the 3x8" would have been a better look than the boxy 3x6". Of course I am no designer just have more Carrara Bianco marble products than any other supplier to choose from, so that creates an entire range of ideas.
