ways the rail looks simpler without the bottom rake. It's modern without going over the edge. Balusters can be made in a darker metal or a stainless steel. Can certainly withstand the test of time.
Use antiques to soften modern lines. Achieve the O'Brien look with a pale palette. Paint walls, trim and ceiling white or cream. I like the railings its so modern
gentle swoop and corner steps below a landing that serves as a podium for the chancellor to address guests on. But a close look at the pickets reveals a modern touch. The profile of the pickets reinforces the rhythm of the steps nicely.
