This is the interior of the tower room. It is approx 45'-0" above the ground and affords the owner a 360 degree view of the lake and surroundings. The seats are leather captains chairs w/ a ship ladder going up to a widows walk.

This neat little nitch affords a great temptation to put the cares of the world on hold for a while while you read a book or just look at pictures, I really love the mix of wood and paint, the mix of railing types and painted panels. This may be my favorite part of this entire home.

About 100 years of colourful flooring material was taken up from the kitchen of this house located in Bonavista, Newfoundland. While most of it was damaged, we did manage to repurpose it to create an interesting staircase. This coastal home was restored for CapeRace Cultural Adventures Eco-Culture Experience travel.
