How wide are the balusters - 1 /1/4" or 1 3/4" and how far apart are they?
the ones in the picture look to be 1 1/4.. you could potentially get them in any width.

the measurements of the trim? It looks like it steps down in size from the baseboard. The baseboard looks like a 1x10 or 1x8, door 1x6, and window 1x4? And is the face profile of the backband 1"?

what size of the balusters ? 1/2 or the mega 4/3" ?
you'd have to sample the two sizes side by side to decide. The 1/2" are adequate per building code, as long as they're solid and not hollow. Otherwise it's all about looks
The mega is 3/4 " is that better than 1/2 " ? Thanks,T.
I believe they are 1.75" thick.

I love this railing. Can you tell me the company that carries the newel? Also, are the balusters 1" or 1 1/4"?
Sorry, this part of the house was a renovation and we didn't have anything to do with newels or baluster other than painting. The balusters are 1 inch square rotated 45 degrees.

the newel posts are 6"x6" and the balusters are 1 1/2"x1 1/2"
