What kind of materials were used for this size shower pan? Someone recommended we use an EPS pan instead of mortar for our 4'x11' dual walk-in shower. The design is very similar to the beautiful pictured here.

This outdoor shower is indicated by nothing more than a tile arch. If there's plumbing nearby, this would be a fairly easy project (not for me, but for someone handy and patient).

In my opinion, I don't see an easy design change that would allow a doorless shower. When considering doorless, you need to account not only direct path of water from the shower head(s), but also the "splash off" that occurs when you put a person underneath of the shower head. You could eliminate
make the shower larger, and then consume the remaining space with a built-in storage cabinet under the window, and maybe make the closet larger... just a thought.
