I like the room windows and ceiling
A custom half-circle window was installed in the breakfast nook. The window makes the space feel larger by providing a view straight into the backyard and allowing plenty of morning light to filter through. Hi and thank you for your question-those are carrara marble and they are 12" squares. The installer cut them in halves and bullnosed them on site for the trim pieces and curb. Lorraine
I think this is very similar to the layout of our shower with the windows, corner, etc.

However, per your comment, there does need to be some aesthetic considerations on how a garden window compliments/detracts from the look of the exterior of the home. I would hesitate using a garden window on a front

Tyvek, should be lapped over so water can't run behind the window. Flashing tape should be used to seal the window's installation flanges to the sheathing. If you are remodeling, install metal head flashing to divert water around the window and pay special attention to caulking.
