In our kitchen, which also faced south, there was only one small window above the sink. We left that when we remodeled the kitchen, but a couple years later when had some other work done, we removed a large double cabinet to expand the existing window

and what are their configurations as are they all fixed or combinations .we have a wall of 30 ft and i do not want all the windows to be fixed. I would like to open a few and not have so much mullions in between. would like a clean look
Trim, window head, window sill, depth of coffer, proportion of length to width to height in the room, etc. Hiring a qualified architect will ensure that visual harmony will prevail. Good luck with your project.
