Beautiful Kit! How high is the exhaust from cook top? What CFM used?
perceive the angle. It looked to me that the drawers were not lined up directly below the range but it could be a perception thing from the angle and the way my eyes see it. Thank you for your quick response and the insight about the height. It is helpful.
whe you angle your elbow at 90 degree you want to be about 3-6" above countertopheight for 'healthy' food prepration movements. Asian clients might want to even consider 34" height being the correct height for them. Another option: You could drop the counter around a rangetop, as the Europeans sometimes
allow the cook to be a part of the family rm activity as well as watch TV while preparing food. ; )

time you cook, the vast majority of grease/smoke/etc will be pulled into the filters, not even touching the glass. Over time, of course, some particles will accumulate on the glass, but it's a simple matter to spray some Windex onto a paper towel & wipe it off. More modern range hood designs provide a

very nice tops for working kitchens and can answer more of your questions. http://www.brookscustom.com/kitchen-countertops.php Hope that helps! Emily Pinney
I love the wood counter top, but is that sustainable in a working kitchen? Does it have to have a bar finish on top of it?
place cook top in front of lower (29" hi sill) window. Any suggestions? Thanks.
counter top is more used as a dining area... the client's are not using it for cooking / food prep. A wood countertop can be very suitable in a working kitchen - but is dependent on many things (overall look, client's care and upkeep). This countertop was made custom for the space by a woodworker in New
