We are building and made space for a 72" tub but now only want a 66" tub what would you suggest for framing, it looks like here just one side of the wall is built out but could we build out each wall 3" to keep the room in balance? Thanks so much
That's probably right. Sheet materials need a more level floor. Older buildings might have some leveling issues that aren't as visible in tile but would be visible with sheet material.
You can build out the whole wall to take up the 6" difference or create a deck at the end of the tub
