Blue Bench
Meadow lawn!!! Low maintenance and romantic. Great for a large backyard.
Meadow garden - search for low growing native flowers that are not too invasive and just mow paths around apple grees and maybe in the front yard too

Add a gentle contrastThe lush planting of this wild garden is very gently punctuated by a blue painted bench in the distance. It creates a soft focal point amid all the green without jumping

Lots of variation in color and textures of plants and flowers. I like the garden feel of it.
Trellis instead of a fence, more neighborly, potted plants look classy
chives and leeks. The couple is responsible for all the landscape design, plantings and built structures. Many of the plantings are heirlooms from other families' homes around British Columbia and Alberta, and many of the new plantings are native species.

Does anyone recognize the types of plants/flowers used along the wall besides the guinea impatiens? Thanks!!
wHAT TYPE of plants were used against the house? Trees?
Large green leaves show water in big droplets when wet. Good plant to use at the base of Siberian Iris for the contrast of horizontal and vertical foliage textures.
The plant is new guinea impatiens. They are a great annual bedding plant for sun/part sun conditions and they come in a variety of colours
is it please possible yo identify the trees planted in this picture? I know the question has been asked, but I can not find the answer. Please help!
Plants that border path in front of house are perennials Astilbe “ Bridal Veil” (white flowers) and at the base of the Astilbe are Alchemilla Mollis or Lady

Would like to know about containers/pots that only require infrequent watering, i.e. once a week to once a month. Would like to use these to grow indoor...
