Is the wall color the same Valley Forge tan as in the living room?
I'm in the middle of new construction with an open floor plan that has a bay seating area (per our 3 daughters request) & I have colors of your other rooms that I'm using, but really needed this wall color if possible. I'm nervous about getting it right & I saw that you answer other questions really well
I love this seating - for living room ?
features built-in window seats where family members can contemplate the view.
3. Safety. Carpeting is ideal for cushioning our footsteps, reducing slips and falls, and minimizing injuries when falls do occur. It can provide safety protection for the whole family, but especially for toddlers and seniors

Can anyone help me plan my kids' playroom? it's basically a white room. there are way too many possibilities. my kids are ashes 2, 3, & 4. there is a full futon, a bookshelf, and a shit ton of toys in that room. I'm thinking I need to define spaces for like the dress up area, the kitchen, books,
train table. I'm having a hard time finding the Zen in this 5-walled room. then there's paint color. that back wall has thin slats under a chair rail. the room gets a good amount of light..I don't even have window treatments in mind. please help! any advise is greatly appreciated. any volunteers
It is always a good idea to have everyone take their shoes off at the door. keep slippers at the door as a reminder for the family and guests to change into slippers. This is what we do.

A family photos floating shelf that goes down the hallway to the guest room. It's not sunny there so it won't fade the photos.
The stairs are from my outdoor pool area and the glass room is the dry off room and in the hallway the windows are into the dining room and the doors are to the 3 boys' GR's and boys GR bathroom

is simply breathtaking. 10’ high French doors flow to the waterfront verandah and Hamptons-style pool from the open living/dining room, club room/library, and family room, all of which are as sumptuously comfortable as they are stunningly refined. From the gorgeous smoky-hued marble and walnut floors
beautifully balances bold impact and subtle glamour. Opening off the upstairs gallery is a waterfront lounge deck appointed as a resort-like open-air spa room, a sublime luxury. Transcending the ordinary in every aspect, this is a sophisticated Intracoastal estate, rendered to perfection with singular style

Opening up the walls around the stairs makes the room look much bigger (the white posts are really ugly though)
Stairs lead down to family room, bedrooms and laundry closet. The upper level contains the master bedroom and bath, dressing area and study. The bannister rails borrow a traditional look with their spindle shapes, but the way the thin metal lines stick straight into the floor is all modern.
