The goal was to totally re-create a space that was both beautiful, that made sense functionally and a place to remind the clients of their vacation time. A peaceful oasis. We knew we wanted to use tile that looks like shiplap. A cost effective way to create a timeless look. By cladding the entire tub shower wall it really looks more like real shiplap planked walls. The center point of the room is the new window and two new rustic beams. Centered in the beams is the rustic chandelier. Our clients wished for a larger main bathroom with more light and storage. We expanded the footprint and used light colored marble tile, countertops and paint colors to give the room a brighter feel and added a cherry wood vanity to warm up the space. The matt black finish of the glass shower panels and the mirrors allows for top billing in this design and gives it a more modern feel.

In this the sweet nursery, the designer specified a blue gray paneled wall as the focal point behind the white and acrylic crib. A comfortable cotton and linen glider and ottoman provide the perfect spot to rock baby to sleep. A dresser with a changing table topper provides additional function, while adorable car artwork, a woven mirror, and a sheepskin rug add finishing touches and additional texture.
