This is the great room in our home in central Mexico. The ceilings are about 25 feet tall. The French doors and windows are about 15 feet tall so the space seem open and very sunny. All the wood furniture in this photo was "found" in my very fun shopping trips around San Miguel de Allende.

The blue and white pottery is from Delores Hidalgo....a little ceramic making town very close to San Miguel de Allende.

This view is of the great room taken from one corner of the courtyard. I shot this back over the pool at night. This second home is very lovely at night with the lights on in the garden and in the house.

The 15 foot tall French doors were custom made. They are wood and rusted iron.

Most of the decorative object in the great room were found in junk stores and antique stores! San Miguel is a wonderful place to shop. There are many old stone pieces....doors, furniture etc. Now I find that the contemporary design in San Miguel is getting more wonderful by the year. Great designers!
