We removed the tree and planted a more appropriate Juniper in it's place. Along the property line we built a dry stack-stone retaining wall in order to level the flagstone walkway.

Before - This side of the property is very narrow according to the city plan's property lines and made it a tough space to work with. The Colorado Blue Spruce next to the garage should never have been planted there.

After - We re-laid the existing flagstone and brought a few new pieces in. It's wider, has the proper slope for water drainage, and looks better overall.
