The entire room is designed in shades of white, including white painted cabinetry with blue accents in the tile design. A combination of satin nickel hardware and chrome fixtures added a bit of sophistication. The heated octagon and dot flooring give the design a timeless feel. This was all brought together to create the casual simplicity of the coastal design style.

A shallow depth tall linen cabinet and decorative open shelves setting on the solid surface tub deck fulfills the homeowner’s towel and linen storage needs. The vanity is designed with an open furniture look to help make the room feel more spacious.

The minor changes to the layout enabled all of the elements to be included in the design per the homeowner’s wish list. The end result was a look of casual comfortable elegance. The new bathroom design is truly a room the homeowner can retreat to for a relaxing getaway from a busy day.

By making the vanity smaller and moving the toilet a couple feet the new 33” by 66” whirlpool tub was able to fit under a new larger window. A very narrow shower replaced the area where the linen closet used to be and the 3/8” glass shower enclosure walls helped to open the space up that once felt extremely narrow.

The range hood over the 48 inch Wolf pro-style range is flanked with two counter to ceiling glass cabinets for great impact. The larger upper portion of the island works great for serving or dining.

The island is designed for entertaining and prep work, with a wine cooler on one end and a large Rohl 30" apron front single bowl fire-clay farmhouse sink on center and a bar-height bar top. First things first, the cooking area was moved to the back wall so it would be the main focus when you walked into the family room and kitchen. The range hood is flanked with two counter to ceiling glass cabinets for impact and symmetry.
