This is one of 3 guest bedrooms that I had the most fun with. With visiting grand kids in mind, we were asked to try to get 2 full size beds in the room. Homeowners requested their bedroom have a serene quality that just begged for relaxation. They also wanted it to be indicative of the coastal location. By subtly infusing shells in the embroidered pillow fabric, inside the glass bedside table lamps and on the delicate trim on the motorized roman shades, we accomplished that coastal feeling. photo by Holger Obenaus

The library is located at the top of the 2nd floor landing. With plenty of space for books, this is the perfect space for the family to gather for bedtime stories, or in the case of my client, a cozy spot to gather with your visiting family before retiring for the night. This very cool spot located on the 3rd floor of this gracious home. The homeowners wanted a gathering spot for drinks before dinner with friends,which was a challenge given the small space. The sectional provides comfortable seating for 4 or lounging for one. This was what the home office looked like before turning into a modern reading room. The homeowners wanted a more formal presentation to visitors as they entered the home and they wanted something that reflected their style and personalities.

This small space was a very traditional home office that was turned into a very cool study/reading room. Located near the front entry of this home, this is the first room visitors see. As it was, the style did not match the rest of the home or the hip homeowners. Now, it sets just the right tone for the entire house and reflects the homeowners personal style and taste.
