my son went to college, so I redid his room!! I added the wood trim to the walls and most of the furniture is different. The bed was my daughters when she was growing up, I painted it blue. The sunburst clock was my grandparents.

the other side of the room...the dresser was part of the first bedroom set my parents bought. It was in my sisters room, when we were growing up, Mom painted it "antique" green. Lots of blk/wht family photos on the ledge. Curtains are twin bedspreads, hanging from clip rings, big windows need lots of fabric.

This is the center of the mantel. The Noel came from TJMaxx. The blocks are sitting on some of my mercury glass candlesticks, with silver garland.

This is the mantel in my family room. The house is a Craftsman Bungalow, you can probably tell by the woodwork. The mantel lis huge and can be difficult to decorate. I'm rather, pleassed with the outcome this year. The Christmas tree is a retro silver one, with the original color wheel. So I stayed with the white and silver theme.
