Here is the finished fireplace installation from the living room side. This is a pretty wide open space, and the fireplace creates a pleasant room divider without interrupting lines of sight too much. The accent light in the fireplace creates a nice focal point even when the fire isn't on. This is a gas direct vent fireplace by Majestic.

This fountain was designed as part of an extension to an existing stamped concrete deck. The height of the fall provides a light, pleasing sound. The disappearing fall avoids the problems associated with an open pool - mosquitos, leaves, animals, etc. There is a firepit to the left of the photo for year round enjoyment.
