A hall table is a great place to put a seasonal bouquet of flowers or a favorite decorative piece, whether it be a sculpture or a book. It really sets the tone for a home as guests enter. I love what this piece would say about my home.

Perhaps one of my favorite, and one of the most inspiring pieces in the French collection, is the settee. It is classic and elegant in any setting. This one is certainly a little more on the traditional side, but the options are truly endless.

Now we are talking. This traditional Louis chair covered in opal velvet makes a statement, especially if sitting aside a white table.

Some of my favorite design features are contrasting colors and styles: light and dark, or old and new. I think this intricate white table is so special because you can make it really exciting when you pair it with an opposing chair.

I have a weakness for gold gilt mirrors. Antique or reproduction, they are fabulous. This dramatic mirror is ideal over a fireplace or in the entry perched on a console.

This beautiful piece with glass and crystal on a pewter frame is delicious! You know it will add incredible warmth when hanging over a great dining table.
