But this door was recessed into a protective alcove facing away from the ocean breeze.
We worked with a local door fabricator on the design and installation of the pivoting doors. He also create a fabulous front door with a three dimensional basket weave pattern. Small glass insets fill each opening

The difficulty with sealing a pivot door is that the pressure gasket is on one side of the frame to the left of the hinge, and on the other side of the frame on the right side. The rest of the doors throughout the house look to be 68". Was this purposeful? Is there a general rule

Our dining area goes out onto the indoor/outdoor patio. Would love to have inviting glass doors instead of a sliding glass.
