What type of accent lighting is used?
I love the accent lighting installed in the floor and ceiling. What kind of lighting is it? Is it low voltage to avoid heat on the wine? Is the floor raised or is it low-profile lighting? Thanks!
Thank you for your comment. Yes, these are low voltage lights, typical MR-16's I think. The floor was raised in this area so if you have a slab on grade foundation you need to plan for these in advance.
The fountain and any water feature can be incorporated into any space, It depends on preference
preference and budget. We have a project with a 3 story wall feature, where the water falls down the wall and into a stone collection area in the basement, creating a relaxing/calm feeling throughout the main living space all the way to the basement retreat. Fountains also work well outdoors in courtyards

track lighting not normal lights - too hot
different styles of racks, nice lighting
Long wall storage concept. Add lights though
much for a cellar. There are many incredible LED lighting options, which emit virtually no heat. Track lights, puck lights and LED strip lights can all light a space in interesting ways and show off your collection.
4. Choose your lighting. Wine cellars are designed to be cool, but we also want them to look cool. If you love your cellar, you may want to leave the lights on and admire it, so the style of lighting you choose is paramount. Normal incandescents and halogen bulbs emit a lot of heat — way too much

Can u advise the lighting that has been placed behind the Onxy panel. What distance of the Onxy is it ? Thanks
the top using a broom or brush to give it a bit of texture but primarily to water proof the wall as we were underground. We then painted it with a matt black paint (DONT USE GLOSS). the shiny element comes from the subtle lighting. Hope this helps, Regards, Dominic Bagnato ARCHITECT
back 100mm from the rear wall and glued it to aluminium channels around the perimeter, so that they would not cast shadows. We installed LED strip lighting also around the perimeter with the transformer in the cupboard below. Hope this helps, Regards, Dominic Bagnato ARCHITECT
Backlit onyx would make a beautiful source of ambient light. Maybe better suited in a room where low light levels are acceptable (bedroom, dining room, wine room).
