o the lights affect the wines?
It seems that lately there is a trend for these purple/bluefish lights in the modern wine cellars. They look amazing! However, I heard that certain lights can overtime affect the taste of the wine. Is that true, and if it is, does it depend on how long the wine is
coloured lights? Thank you very much!
The lights used here are LED and therefore give off no heat which can indeed effect the wine. We also kept the red wine separate (in the center section) and have just displayed the champagne in the LED lit area. The LED lighting is around the perimeter and just around the edge. I would not recommend
other light but LED as halogen etc will give off an enormous amount of heat and will also cost a lot more to run. This is why LED is used in most commercial bar installations. Hope this helps...
