Does the light from the rack effect the wine?
Jamie, who did this lighting project? Please share designer name.
How is this lit? Is it edgelit with blue LED and the bottle openings are etched? Thanks!
What do you do incredible. I like it so much, that blue is what material is the lighting effect what
wood channel. the lighting glows through the acrylic.
the material is clear acrylic. it is just lit with LED lights with blue for the image. When the lights are off the cellar is clear acrylic with no color
The lights turn off when not entertaining and the see through glass ceilings have roller shades that black out the room. Normally the room is dark 55 degrees and humidified.
Thank you! the material is clear acrylic and the effect of the blue comes from LED lighting placed in the wood

We designed and built the wine cellar. Look for us on the internet. www.exceptionalcellars.com. London Audio Ltd installed all the lighting.
track lighting not normal lights - too hot
different styles of racks, nice lighting
much for a cellar. There are many incredible LED lighting options, which emit virtually no heat. Track lights, puck lights and LED strip lights can all light a space in interesting ways and show off your collection.
4. Choose your lighting. Wine cellars are designed to be cool, but we also want them to look cool. If you love your cellar, you may want to leave the lights on and admire it, so the style of lighting you choose is paramount. Normal incandescents and halogen bulbs emit a lot of heat — way too much

Questions4
Very nicely done. It appears there is light coming in along the upper back wall of the wine area. Did you incorporate glass to take advantage of stairway windows?
like LED lighting which is popular in wine cellars. Wine safety is critical and you don't want the wine bottles exposed to direct light. LED lights use 80% less power, produce no UV radiation, generate almost no heat which makes them ideal for wine cellars.: https://www.wineracks.com/catalog/led-lig

Questions11
What type of accent lighting is used?
I love the accent lighting installed in the floor and ceiling. What kind of lighting is it? Is it low voltage to avoid heat on the wine? Is the floor raised or is it low-profile lighting? Thanks!
area in the basement, creating a relaxing/calm feeling throughout the main living space all the way to the basement retreat. Fountains also work well outdoors in courtyards. Its all preference.
Thank you for your comment. Yes, these are low voltage lights, typical MR-16's I think. The floor was raised in this area so if you have a slab on grade foundation you need to plan for these in advance.
great lighting, stone, wood, glass....rustic and modern
