what names of the different purple flowers & grow in Florida?
these plants in a sunny location in my garden. In Florida, they may need shade, if they are plants that can grow in your climate.
Catmint plants come up over the past few years that I've been able to move to another part of the yard or share with friends. Great plants and easy to grow. I live in East Texas where it's hot and humid in the summer. Hopefully, you can see my Catmint in this photo.
The plant is "Sliver Mound" Artemesia.
The dark purple is salvia( there are many varieties). The lighter plant is Nepeta( Catmint). Both are perennials( come back every year). Both like sun. Neither is butterfly bush or lavender.

lavender flowering plant catmint ? It's so beautiful.
Hi Folks, the plant with the large purple spikes spilling into the path is Catmint, Nepata 'Walker's Low' the hot pink globes in the lower left corner are Armeria maritima and the lighter pink is Dianthus, though I can't remember the variety. The
light pink flowers on the edge are dianthus, and I agree with Helen that the dark pink looks like thrift. The really dark deep pink flowers a little further back are peonies

be sure to smell these "flowers" while in bloom before you plant them- to many people they have a horrible garlic stench!
white flowers looming overhead in the photo here are those of the oft-planted lily of the Nile (Agapanthus africanus, zones 7 to 11). It makes a great companion for society garlic, since both plants bloom at the same time, are from South Africa and thrive in more or less the same conditions. Add a yellow
