OMG! I made something very similar to that wall hanging a few years ago! DANG! I thought I had a one of a kind. Mine is weathered, not painted; and I have one section for each kid, one for my husband and I, and one main family/extended family section.

I have 2 similar window panes that I would like to turn into picture frames like the one in your picture. What did you use to get picture to stay? The window panes that I have are heavy, what is the best method of hanging it?
I used picture hanging wire attached to the back of the frame with d-rings. I just used clear tape to keep the photos in the panes. Easy stuff:-)
