The picture rail is FABULOUS. Question about measurements?
From the top of the WALL where it meets the ceiling to the BOTTOM of the picture rail as it is installed....WHAT IS THE MEASUREMENT? Since picture rail depth is pretty constant, Im not too worried about that, just the measurement to the bottom
the rail mold itself. I love that little peep of wall color above and the shadow cast by the molding. Is yours a pretty traditional install height?
installed the picture rail to match the original in the house in other rooms. Generally there is a 1/2" gap between the ceiling and the top of the picture rail - enough to get a picture hanger on.
