This picture from the dining room into the kitchen shows the strong connection between the wall covering and kitchen color palette. Gray cabinetry, traditional subway tiles in a light cream and interesting "dots" inset tiles to add a funky touch.
The way the kitchen ends at the dining room swing door - it would be very neat to open it up with an arch like this.
