This room I feel is perfection. The elements used are all simple, they can either accent or be used as centerpieces, and each piece of furniture was obviously picked with care. I also love the pop of color from the cherry blossoms in the middle of the table.
Love the brightness and the mix of new/old with the antique pieces

Could be a lit up piece of art to look like a window
Sock cabinets could create this and a stained glass piece with a light behind it would recreate this look and add a warm light behind the bar.

I want to recreate the window moulding, can you tell me which type of moulding pieces were used and the sizes? I have taken this picture to local home improvement store and they were no help! Also when putting moulding around windows
That was a piece from Williams-Sonoma Home that is not produced any longer.
It is a nice piece, if you're looking for something complete try Arhaus Furniture
Thanks, we had our local upholstery shop make this piece.
Yes, the art is a very special piece: http://archive.joshua-meyer
Those two pieces on the left are from Ellen Markoff. http://www.mesart.com/artworksps.jsp.que.artist.eq.447.shtml
I think you could pull it off with a big splash of red...you might want to lighten up some of the other pieces in the room

Who made this piece? Where might I find this particular piece?
I'm excited to see this piece. We have several pieces of a bedroom set that we restored. Looks like there could be a matching vanity.
era preceding it. There are no surviving labels but when I first purchased it I remember that it had an American department store label on one of the pieces, so it may have been a house brand. It was purchased in upstate New York so it may have come from a store in one of the bigger cities such as Binghamton
dovetail drawers and usually a veneer of mahogany or tiger maple, and once in a while, blonde mahogany. The manhattan shop, Adelaide often restores these pieces with a deep wine-colored stain which is pretty gorgeous: http://adelaideny.com/Adelaide/Adelaide.html
