Hello and thank you for your question. This vanity top extends about 1/4" beyond the base cabinetry. As you can see this edge is very minimal, however it is common to see countertops extend about 1" beyond the cabinetry. We hope this helps and good luck with your project! Be sure to check out more

color to keep it all light. How do you like your microwave drawer, especially with kids? We have a toddler and twins on the way. I'm sure I'll have more questions as we go through our design- thanks so much for the inspiration!

home! What is the floor plan like?
We are curious about the floor plan of this beautiful home to see if this could work for us. It doesn't have to have specifics but a little info could go a long way in our decision process.
I love the entire look of your cottage...what roofing did
Mr Eskuche, the pictures of your cottage have me wishing for more. Would you consider adding a few interior photos? Thank you, Elaine
you for your interest and your question! We do not publish floor plans on this web-site due to houzz recommendations. I was planning on all white cabinetry, carrera marble on the island and honed black around the perimeter. (And, I’m narrowing down from three possible backsplashes! Eeek!) Now, I'm considering a gray island – and searched some pictures and came across this one. I love the color of your island!
Hi, I also want to put in a thicker slab on the island (2 1/2 inches like yours). Did you shorten your island cabinets to account for the extra height or is your island taller than your perimeter cabinets? My second question is about honed marble. Is it as bad as everyone tries
Hi. I looked but didn't see...Could you possibly share the dimensions of your kitchen and den? We are renovating the same, almost exactly like your beautiful space and have 8 foot ceilings:) So look at your gorgeous layout helps a lot. Thanks.
