Hi Andrew! This truly is my favorite project on Houzz. I'm a fan! What sort of flooring did you use here?
Hi Kenra, Thanks again so much for all of your comments! The floor is an existing oak floor refinsihed. I don't know the exact stain, but I'm sure your floor sub could match it. Good luck on your Kitchen project!
Ces puits de lumière idéalement situés au dessus de l’îlot amènent la lumière nécessaire au plan de travail qui n’aurait pu être convenablement éclairé, au vu de la distance qui le sépare de la baie vitrée de la salle à manger.

this photo. It's much more interesting and may be a better vantage point.I'd love to hear your tips for creating great photos for real estate listings. How did you take photos when selling your home? What's your opinion on the use of a fish-eye lens for this kind of photography?

Thanks for the information! I have added a photo and was wondering if you could give me your opinion. We are doing something similar in our backyard and adding columns that will be 8' and planning on having the stone base 16x16. My make shift photo is the height of 35 1/2 which would include the 4"
Your quite welcome - this project won a NARI Contractor of the year award for exteriors from NARI of Greater Clevelnd [one of the top 4 NARI chapters in America]
(The box is only 14" wide instead of being 16") Do you think this will be too tall? I thought it looks too tall and narrow in my photo however in your photo it looks great and totally different granted you went 18 x 18....the columns will be around 5 1/2' long from the base to the roof. I am afraid
