The russian sage background to its right a type of spirea and what type?? and then other shrubs front area with sedum curious about as well as the planting area above the stone wall
Hi, glad you like the plants! The closest bed includes Autumn Joy Sedum, Blue Forest juniper, Firefly heather, assorted lewisia and sedums, Quick Silver Hebe and a couple of little cushion cryptomeria that I can't recall the name of. The spirea is Magic Carpet and the blue is actually a catmint although
although there is also a Russian Sage in that bed. The plants on the wall include kinnikinnick draping over, Hot Flash Hellebore in the corner, Howard McMinn manzanita, and caryopteris. I think there is also a rock rose and lavender cotton. The small tree in the back is a Witch Hazel. Hope this helps

Hi what kind of plant are the ground cover? Thanks in advance?
dark leafed plant next to the chartrusse Acorus? Thank you
Hi there - on the left side of the path, there is groundcover Sedum, Acorus gramineus 'Ogon' and Campanula 'Birch Hybrid'. The right side of this path gets more sun and is under an eave, so there are drought tolerant plants such as Sedum
Love the different kinds of plants used here. Love the red tree. Great colors
Beautiful array of plants, also has a small stone path.

was keen to create a variety of spaces for plants and intimate areas for sitting within the garden. The heart-shaped layout creates several small usable areas for sitting out in a variety of conditions/seasons etc and creates interesting areas for planting. The garden also spills out onto the road reserve
The plant here is a native New Zealand plant, Scleranthus biflorus - or we could have used S. uniflorus, I can't recall - but they are both very similar.Neither will take much shade, they are a plant of riverbeds and semi-alpine areas and require an open, sunny situation with good drainage - or they
Moss (arenaria aurea), it looks very similar, just a richer green and not so mounded, more a flatter sheet, and a softer plant. If you can find a suitable spot for Scleranthus plant it with the top 1/2 in a gravel or pebble mulch, not soil. This replicates it's normal habitat and avoids the risk of it
