I lived in Ohio and it bloomed in 3 years. I would estimate the above growth to be spring of the plant's second season if it was planted from a pot.

Look at the pavers and the planting area for a vine or a pot with drip to it
wisteria leaves soften a pergola, blurring the lines between hardscape and garden. Start from grafted plants vs. seedlings for quicker blooms. Wisteria is best suited to USDA climate zones 5-8. Re-imagined from ordinary lawn to extraordinary plant collection, this special side garden offers a journey through a verdant, leafy understory. There's a distinct feeling of separateness, thanks to the mature shade tree that creates a canopy. It filters the sunlight and casts a dappled shadow pattern

ps... LOVE the tropical plants in bathroom idea :)
shower with plants, kinda cool!
Decorating with plants gives you great flexibility to reinvent your space. This wet room has been transformed into a temporary and playful jungle with a mixture of tropical plants and an exotic stool.
when complemented by lush greenery. Copy this bathroom and install tiles on both floor and walls, for the full exotic effect, then just add plants. Tropical plants do well in the humid, moist atmosphere of a bathroom — a match made in heaven.

The front of my home gets little sun....only a short portion of the day as we have so many trees. Do these plants grwo well in partial sun....if not would you recommend plants/shrubs that do do well in partial sun? Thanks so much,
of the same type of planting style here but with less straight line arrangement. Having curves is ok if we mass plant fewer varieties of plants.
repetition of plants in circular forms create rhythm
Like the low plants, rocks, and different textures
hardscaping may play a leading role, plant choice is still a major factor in a modern or contemporary landscape. Ideally, most should have an architectural character (think phormium or blue fescue) with foliage in shades of green or gray. Though colorful flowers and plants can be used in this style of landscaping
